-Consultation with staff to develop programmes for creativity
in schools and the community.
He will consult to develop creative activities and deliver
skills workshops in partnership with his clients and specializes
in the development of personal process skills (such as decision
making and working with others) to support enjoyment in
learning.
John has extensive experience of teaching creative subjects in
Secondary, Special and Primary schools and has worked as
Advisory Teacher for Primary Technology and Science.
He began to realize the value of art as a medium for personal
development and self-expression whilst teaching pupils with
learning difficulties and took the opportunity to return to
learning himself, graduating with an honours degree in Fine Art
from Sheffield Hallam University in 2003.
He is now able to offer a unique combination of practical skills
and knowledge of Art and Technology along with a keen interest
in 20th Century history and a vast experience of education in
his work as-
-Consultant on integrating creativity across the curriculum.
-Artist/Technologist in Residence in schools and community.
-Facilitating and designing of creative and skills based
workshops. -Exhibiting contemporary artist.
