EDUCATION
My aim is to plan with partners to promote the joy of
learning through creative activities.
I have a pupil and teacher friendly approach to my work
and provide a positive and sustainable input.
Workshops are usually planned to include the teacher,
thus providing INSET.
I can help to work towards-

As a facilitator, I can offer to design and deliver
Creative Activities including the following.
Art
Printmaking - Etching, collographs, monoprints,
(I have a portable professional etching press available)
Pinhole Photography - Camera and image making
Idea realization - model making
Filmic Photography - setting up and lighting
models similar to film sets to make dramatic images for.
Image making - drawing, painting, mark making and
photography.
Technology
Structures - bridges, towers, buildings,
shelters,
Mechanisms - hinging, wheels, cams, motorizing
models, levers, pulleys.
Construction techniques - box models, small
section 8mm sq. timber.
Simple electrics - batteries, light bulbs,
switches and their application.
Flight - how an aeroplane flies, designing,
making and testing of model aeroplanes.
Most activities can be planned across the curriculum to
develop skills across a broad range of subject areas.
Including links with Literacy, Science, Citizenship,
PSHE and Multicultural Education.
Resource material available includes.
Video footage transferred from 1930-1960 Cine films
depicting life and transport and the Home Guard in WW2.
Archive photographs from the 20thC
Video footage and images from personal travel in
Mongolia, China and Thailand.
