2008—Development of primary technology liaison links for North Doncaster
Technology College.
2007—Consultant and coach for mixed teams from four Doncaster secondary schools
First Lego League Competition.
- Presentation to Specialist Schools Trust Schools Conference.
2007—ongoing—Consultant to Primary Engineer to deliver INSET courses
to Schools and Exhibitions.
2004—ongoing—Technologist in residence at Ridgewood School. Doncaster.
- Ridgewood
School has specialist Engineering status and my role is to liaise with the
feeder Primary and Special schools to develop and deliver Technology projects
and workshops to pupils and staff.
2003—2006—Resident Creative Artist at Brinsworth Comprehensive
School, Rotherham.
- Autonomous learning project linked to Room 13 working with
year 8 pupils to develop opportunities for pupils to have a high degree of
input into their learning leading through creative activities.
2005—Staff Development at Moorthorpe Primary School Wakefield.
- Working
with all staff in the school and pupil mentors to develop creative activities
for “Technology Week”.
The aim was to raise the level of skills and confidence of the staff and
to develop a range of simple sustainable activities that would develop the
personal process skills of the pupils.
The Technology Week was delivered by
the staff, thus ensuring ownership and sustainability.
