John has been an asset to the development of our D.T skills and teachers welcome the support he can give. He has worked across the whole range from Foundation Stage to Year 6 and has no problem transferring skills to the different ages of children.

Ridgewood, a Specialist School in Engineering, Related Technologies & the Vocational Curriculum, has gained an excellent National reputation for both the provision of innovative curricular opportunities and for  many successful Community programmes. 

John, acting as the Community Teacher in Residence has been instrumental in providing a series of technological opportunities for Ridgewood and its community partners which have flourished.

Under his direction the pupils from both Ridgewood and its seven feeder schools are offered a range of educational experiences that takes them beyond the conventional curriculum. 

John is a leading light with a very personal touch. He has relentless energy and commitment and a passionate belief in inclusive education, always presented and delivered to the highest standard.
